This site offered a list of the skills needed by 21st century learners. There was a really great diagram here that illustrated the skills and linked to descriptions of what 21st century instruction should look like. Also, there are a lot of resources for teachers/educators such as presentations and podcasts

50 Ways to Use Wikis in the Classroom
This site lists 50 uses of wikis to create a more "collaborative and interactive classroom".
Wikis are collaborative and easy to use with our Net Generation students when you are looking for learning activities. Teachers can get free accounts in Wikispaces and other online Wikis to use with their students.
This site allows you to share music and build upon music of others and it is all consistent with copyright laws.
There is a wiki component to this website and can be very useful if you would like to incorporate music into a lesson. This can be very stressful and many people shy away because of the difficulty with copyright laws.

This allows you to have access to new flip charts in very many content areas with a free sign-up
The flip charts can be used with the ActivInspire software. These flip charts are available for all content areas and can be formatted to your liking. It is pretty easy to add video, pictures, music, etc. to the flip chart you are using. Very much like an interactive Power Point.

Website that features and explains different videosharing websites.
Youtube is a common website for uploading videos, however, it is not the only option. This website will be helpful for teachers and students to determine the best place to upload their educational videos to share with others.

Allows users to take "virtual" field trips to specific topics and places
Mostly science related, this site provides a variety of field trips that allow students to access pictures and information on topics all in one location. The site also allows teachers to reate their own virtual field trip.

A variety of precreated lessons for all subjects utilizing videos, webquests, SmartBoards, and other technology.
Thinkport was created for Maryland educators. There used to be lessons only about Maryland, but as the site has expanded, so have the lessons. You have to create an account to join the website, but once inside you can create, edit, and enjoy the lessons that they provide for all grade levels and all subject areas based on whatever form of technology you feel comfortable using.
